Before we started to implement precautionary measures, our team has been Move Safe Certified through Homelight, which means we learned the best tools, technology, and practices to help keep clients safe during COVID-19. Here are some of the many precautions that we now include to keep you safe.
Zoom has been our new best friend! We love “meeting” our buyer and seller to review and go over the buying or selling process. Its our goal for you to feel confident and comfortable with who you are working with, while putting your mind at ease knowing a little bit about the process and knowing you have a team in your corner every step of the way!
If you are ready to start shopping for homes, there is a few ways we can go to visit the home. If you are not comfortable leaving your home, NO WORRIES! We always ask the sellers if they have a virtual tour of the home, or we have no problem going out and taking videos of the neighborhood and home to make you feel as if you’ve seen every inch of it. If you are okay to do a walk-through tour, for everyone’s safety, we will all wear gloves & masks, as well as any of the vendors we work with through out this process until closing.
For our sellers, we still manage to make sure your home is exposed at the highest level! While practicing social distancing and following CDC guidelines, our professional photographer will take photos of your property, while using gloves and masks of course, and to avoid them from needing to touch around in your house will will go over previously what you can do to prepare for the photographer to come.
The same practices will be used with each showing that occurs, and with each vendor that may need to access your home throughout the steps in this process. We also will try to limit the amount of people in your house at one to assure no one’s safety will be compromised.
Closing Day, YAY! Our Attorneys & Title Agents will coordinate the closing procedures with you to make sure your safety is the #1 priority. While right now closings are a bit different, your same goal is still very much happening. Closing may be with a remote notary, at your new home/location that works with everyone, or at your attorneys office. You and your attorney will coordinate this to your comfort level.
From beginning to end, and even past the “closing day”, we are here to guide you every step of the way. Although things may not be the same as they were a few months ago, what is the same is our priority to serve you and surpass your expectations!
