7. Brighton Asylum (Passaic, NJ) Not for the faint of heart, the Brighton Asylum shut down in the 1940s; however it’s rumored that patients still roam the halls to this day. Check it out and let the scares begin!
8. Happy Hour Halloween Pub Crawl (Jersey City, NJ) Located at Grove Square in Jersey City, this Halloween pub crawl will definitely be one for the books.
9. L&B’s Halloween Costume Contest (Montclair, NJ) Come with your cat or dog dressed in their costume and snap a picture in front of their new mural! The winner of the costume contest will receive an entire bag of OC Raw dog food.

Adapting to the New ‘Norm’

While real estate is deemed an essential business and has not shut down, The Zamir Group has adapted and taken the upmost safety measures to assure you that we can & will continue to assist our clients at the highest level!

There are still many buyers right now that need a place to call home, and same for sellers- many are still looking to sell. Before we started to implement precautionary measures, our team has been Move Safe Certified through Homelight, which means we learned the best tools, technology, and practices to help keep clients safe during COVID-19.  Here are some of the many precautions that we now include to keep you safe. 

Zoom has been our new best friend! We love “meeting” our buyer and seller to review and go over the buying or selling process. Its our goal for you to feel confident and comfortable with who you are working with, while putting your mind at ease knowing a little bit about the process and knowing you have a team in your corner every step of the way!

If you are ready to start shopping for homes, there is a few ways we can go to visit the home. If you are not comfortable leaving your home, NO WORRIES! We always ask the sellers if they have a virtual tour of the home, or we have no problem going out and taking videos of the neighborhood and home to make you feel as if you’ve seen every inch of it. If you are okay to do a walk-through tour, for everyone’s safety, we will all wear gloves & masks, as well as any of the vendors we work with through out this process until closing.

For our sellers, we still manage to make sure your home is exposed at the highest level! While practicing social distancing and following CDC guidelines, our professional photographer will take photos of your property, while using gloves and masks of course, and to avoid them from needing to touch around in your house will will go over previously what you can do to prepare for the photographer to come.

The same practices will be used with each showing that occurs, and with each vendor that may need to access your home throughout the steps in this process. We also will try to limit the amount of people in your house at one to assure no one’s safety will be compromised.

Closing Day, YAY! Our Attorneys & Title Agents will coordinate the closing procedures with you to make sure your safety is the #1 priority. While right now closings are a bit different, your same goal is still very much happening. Closing may be with a remote notary, at your new home/location that works with everyone, or at your attorneys office. You and your attorney will coordinate this to your comfort level.

From beginning to end, and even past the “closing day”, we are here to guide you every step of the way. Although things may not be the same as they were a few months ago, what is the same is our priority to serve you and surpass your expectations!

Zamir Group breaks $100 million in 2019 sales volume, touting NJMLS milestone!

A team with Keller Williams Town Life is celebrating its recent banner year, having completed more than $106 million in sales volume across nearly 200 transactions in 2019.

The Zamir Group, led by broker-associate Zohar “Zack” Zamir, announced the milestone this week, making it the first real estate group to break $100 million in a single year in New Jersey Multiple Listing Service Inc. history. The volume contributed to what was the agency’s fourth consecutive year ranking No. 1 in NJMLS sales, the group said, noting that the distinction signifies that it bested roughly 11,500 other NJMLS real estate agents in Bergen County and other nearby New Jersey counties for the region’s top sales award.

“Although we conducted nearly 200 transactions in 2019, it never felt crammed or busy, because we have a robust team that gives every client the attention and diligence needed to succeed,” Zamir said. “Every client tells us that working with The Zamir Group felt like a one-on-one transaction.”

The Zamir Group is comprised of a 14-person real estate specialty team servicing home buyers and sellers in northeast New Jersey, with a focus on Bergen and Hudson counties. With offices in Fair Lawn and Tenafly, the agency has inked more than 500 transactions worth more than $300 million across three years.

What’s more, since 2016, The Zamir Group has ranked in the top 1 percent of real estate agencies nationwide for customer service, it said in a news release. The team includes agents with extensive experience in working with first-time homebuyers, luxury homes, commercial and investment properties, property management and other specialty areas.

“Real estate is all about trust and relationships,” Zamir said. “When you do the right thing for clients, you obtain not just their business, but the trust of their family, friends and networks as well.”

The agency also pointed to its experience in navigating real estate laws and regulations in all of Bergen and Hudson counties and some areas in Passaic and Essex counties. Several agents at The Zamir Group speak Hebrew, Spanish, French, Russian, Hindu and Armenian, Zamir said, citing his agency’s linguistic diversity as part of his group’s success.

“I understand how important it is to help everyone, especially newcomers to New Jersey, achieve the American dream of homeownership,” Zamir said. “Our team is diverse — we speak multiple languages, come from different ethnic backgrounds, and live in varied communities throughout North Jersey, so we’re prepared to help our clients succeed in New Jersey’s competitive real estate market.”

Fair Lawn Passes $25 Million Bond Referendum to Fund Schools

Yesterday, March 13, 2018 votes were cast in a historic Bond Referendum as part of a special election. When all the votes were in, the $25 million school funding initiative passed handily, with yeas winning the vote 2,241 to 1,458.

We would like to note that while there was a clear division between those who voted, Fair Lawn has some 25,000 or so adults. Not all are eligible to vote and all sorts of circumstances arise, but it is clear from the numbers that a great many did not vote on this important matter.
